A bone spur is also called osteophyte. It is a tiny pointed outgrowth of bone that is usually caused by inflammation due to tendonitis or degenerative arthritis.   1. I've seen this Mississauga chiropractic since my 10 year old was a baby. I met her when she gave professional advice to a moms group. I was so impressed and in awe with her posture that I knew she was the one to see about my lower back pain/weak abdominal muscles due to pregnancy, etc.
